The arrival of your baby is an exciting time. But no matter how many prenatal classes you’ve attended, or questions you’ve asked, there are always surprises . . . especially after you return home. My visit is designed to help you make a smooth adjustment from the hospital to home. I can help you with questions and concerns, even your most personal ones. What can I expect during the visit? The visit will last a minimum of one hour — longer if you wish and depending on your needs. I will conduct an exam for you and your baby and review care and feeding. Conversation about how you are feeling, now that the baby has arrived, will be an important part of the visit. I will communicate with your doctor as needed to ensure coordinated care. What is the cost? My fee is $100 per visit. |
